We are excited to share the success of our recent “Behind the Scenes” BBC-TV Workshop!

This workshop, developed by BBC actors Joe Chambers and Andrew Crawford, aimed to bring the English language and BBC media world to our students in a fun and inspiring way.

The 60-minute workshop included all students from grades 5, 6, 7, 9, and 10. It began with Joe Chambers and Andrew Crawford discussing their work as TV actors, explaining what their roles involve and how they got started in their careers.

A temporary TV studio was set up in our school hall, where students were assigned various media production tasks. They experienced different roles, such as operating cameras, managing sound, and directing scenes, to learn about teamwork and creativity in television production. During the workshop, several scenes were filmed.

A lively Q&A session followed, where students eagerly asked questions and gained further insights into the media world and the BBC. The workshop concluded with a shortened version of the BBC Show “The Ridiculous Rhyme Show,” allowing students to see the actors in action.

The BBC-TV Workshop was a great success, and we are very proud of our students’ enthusiastic participation. It was a memorable day of learning and fun for everyone involved. We look forward to hosting more events like this in the future to continue inspiring and educating our students through engaging experiences.
